Technical Sales Engineer Automotive (m/w/d)

Duties:

Professional sales of above mentioned NMB-Minebea products in independent sales territory, with the aim to reach the planned budgets (forecasts), as well as building, maintaining, servicing the customer base with the aim to increase sales and profit, gaining market share while following and following the NMB rules and strategies.

  • Customer Acquisition
  • Market analysis and needs assessment
  • Presentation of the company and the NMB products
  • Inquiry processing and preparation of offers
  • Price and order negotiations including conclusion of contracts
  • Aftercare of customers and obtaining follow-up orders
  • Complaint processing
  • Monitoring of 'open items' and cooperation in the collection of outstanding payments
  • General technical customer support and 'design in' for new projects
  • Follow-up of sample requests (NMB internal) and sample deliveries (customer follow-up)
  • Participation in technical coordination together with NMB application engineers and suppliers 
  • Competitive intelligence
  • Control of inventory levels
  • Participate in meetings and present results from assigned tasks and goals      
  • Create forecast and budget plans and monitor for compliance
  • Scheduling of appointments and visits
  • Preparation of Visit and Expenses Reports/Timely submission
  • Participation in trade fairs and exhibitions

Profile:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in engineering or industrial engineering. 
  • Sales experience in the automotive industry is a must, more than 5 years is an advantage 
  • Specific knowledge of systems, automotive processes and "language".
